Speaking of Designs... here's a lil wallpaper i made... i dunno where i got the idea but i name it simplicity.... the colour choice suits my WLM09 and also almost same as chrome... that's why i name it simplicity...

ok i got 58/70 i'm freaking satisfied... this time is really the first time i finished the paper... no blank answers.. so the library camping efforts pays off well... i'm happy...

then PCD reminded me about last sem i got full marks for my econs and was said for about one month... seriously... fullmarks is NOTHING... why keep say a 20/20 but the 19.5 remains ignored? and if it's a praise then thank you... if you say because just wanna say... tell you... i'm tired of it and i'll be angry... but nvm... this tim i got 58/70 dont tell me there's a reason for you to say i'm good... and NOT near to good.. but i'm satisfied that's all...

English teaches APA... i'm kinda familiar actually... i used to read alot... then lecturer wants to see us.... i tot it's gonne be complains.... or anything... but his mood seemed to be good today and we promised to finish the hanging re-dos soon... and i got strong evidence and reason why things get this worse... it's the quality of the bunting.. not because of badly hanged....

I did not take my lunch.. i'm not in the mood i dunno why... may be i hate eating alone...

wai yuen and pcd did offered to sit with me and wait.. but i eat and they wait... what world is that... they need to have their own time... and pcd needs sleep lol... so i ask them to go back... get the rest and your personal time and space... haha...

My gf's not in the mood too.. well not because of me... but she's just stress.... so this is for her.... :P

Equinox - My Birthday Journal

Freaking hot...

99% rain at the evening or night....

A lil history :P

I still remember father told me.. when i was born... the shortcut to hospital flooded.... Mum was extremely hungry and father have to take the LONG road just to reach Hospital...

Of course... the two geography teachers knew this day really well... day teach their students that that day is equinox... better remember!

May be that's why.. their son.. was born on the day of equinox... Hottest day of every year...

Thoughts

Yes... last saturday... was my birthday... to me... it's supose to be the same birthday i have every year... no celebrations.. no cakes.. no presents.. no songs...

well it's not that bad... just my family dont celebrate that's all...

however... turning 19 isn't bad at all... everything is just different...

why? may be because this time... is my first birthday spent since i came MMU... and this time... i have my beloved girl friend spending whole day with me... :D

During 321

The long awaited day arrived and i woke up DAMN early... just to drive all the way to my gf's house... pick her up.. and go to Train Station...

We are going to KL.. woots... happy :D

I don't know when was the last time i visited the busiest city in Malaysia...

and this time... i'm going Sungei Wang... and probably Lowyat Plaza

However.. things didn't turn out great... i had stomachache early in the morning itself... such great present for the drama day... T.T

And that too... was why we delayed our trip to KL... sry ya bii...

I paid for the tickets and on board we go the KTM from Sban to KL…

My gf’s a lil too tired… because of minor sickness and may be not enough sleep…. She slept on my shoulder all the way in KTM to KL… well I’d never been to Sungei Wang… I need her to guide me… so let her have the rest first… haha..

There’s need to interchange trains.. to Monorail…. Seriously… this is my first time on Monorails too!! -.- I’ve already familiar with the LRT and KTM tracks at Singapore and Malaysia respectively.. but Monorail means it’s ON a cement track… it’s like anytime it’s gonna fall T.T ok I admit I’m timid :P

We reached Sungei Wang at approx 1130 and neither of us had our breakfast… so we decided to take our brunch… where at?

Except for the unfamiliar method of taking down what to eat… I’m happy with the restaurant… the food… the atmosphere…. Well we arrived quite early for lunch so the restaurant is not really occupied… but my girl friend says it’s famous and ppl come during lunch… And I can see what she means because by sitting down and eat… many arrived soon… Besides they play quite a lot of Chinese + Cantonese love songs…

And I remembered listening to 大哥 from Wai Lan… and a lot more nice songs which some I do not know the name but still like it… may be my mood’s good for anything this particular day..

We walked around Sungei Wang after that… and visit many couple shops… and she bought me my presents… Thank you darling!

One thing I felt extremely weird about Sungei Wang.. their loo…. Why do they have to separate TWO different floors for different genders… ppl usually think oh there’s female toilet… there’s males… then hey… we have to walk up -.-

Ok nvm :P

After the Long walk… we headed to Lowyat Plaza… we did not know shortcuts… so we take a long route… but it’s ok… at least we reached… IT student… visiting lowyat is a MUST! Lol.. that’s what I told my girl friend…

We bought nothing of course… We didn’t have the cash…

We decided not to take our dinner at KL so there we go on board back to Seremban… Reached at 7pm.. perfect timing… we went to a vegetarian restaurant to take our dinner… well… sooner or later I’m a vegetarian… and it’s birthday… let’s do good deeds shall we? My girl friend’s cool with it.. she supports me… :D

We went Ru Yi Xin I dunno what’s that in English… but Chinese… 如意心…

I picked the RM24 Set dinner for 2 person.. and the dishes were great once again…

We planned to take photos of it before that… but we are too hungry till we forgot.. we finished only then we remembered… then what… we laugh at the empty plates… what to do… lol…

After that… we Pak Toh till almost ten then we’re home… :D

Mixed Emotions

I woke up early in the morning... because of a dream....
In that dream i got birthday present from my parents... which is... IMPOSSIBLE....
and guess what is that present? Microsoft Habu... and i was like why a gaming mouse when i dont need one? and i dont have a proper mouse pad for one mouse that is SO EXPENSIVE....
then in the dream again.. POOF.. a Razer MousePad... GREAT...
the next thing i know.. i'm lying on the bed... listening to my alarm.... i dont know if i'm glad that it's a dream or am i sad because it's a dream and i cant have that Habu....
Glad may be because my family is already poor enough now and the economic crysis struck... i do not even expect a new mouse so impossible habu will be in my wish list....
Sad may be... Seriously, i dont envy it... but having one does not harm does it? well its a dream... Habu has become Habuk i guess... like what i usually laughed at those who bought....
SIGH~

Had a lil talk on the phone the morning itself with my gf and all was well...
Woke up with my usual routine.. the LAZY version... dont feel like studying at all although i know i should... and my gf unconsciously reminded me that i have PHD newspaper work to do... and obviously i have not even touch it... She needs help on that but i felt useless that i cant help her at all... she's ok with it.. but i really hope i'm there to help...

Breakfast this time is bread with olive oil spread... as usual... i took my breakfast in front of my com.. tagging blogs... viewing friendster... logging in eBuddy... and logging in Facebook... and?

Hope you're enjoying your holidays.

Firstly, i'm not happy with the way the committee members for banners is working. I've been walking around certain parts of campus (mosque, CLC, library, Plaza Siswa) and did not see many buntings and posters (maybe they're hiding somewhere). Here are some of the problems:

• posters placed at weird places (example along the stairs), hence they are most likely to be missed
• bunting not properly hung, so it looks like it's gonna fall on someone's head any second (especially the one at Plaza Siswa just above the clinic...hanging precariously low
• one or two buntings and banners do not have approval stickers, probably came off due to wind

... and some other stuff. As such, i'd like to meet all the SIX of you (Shahril, YK, John, Jaya, Thinesh and Andrew) on Monday at 12:00 noon in my office.

I do appreciate everyone's assistance to ensure success of the two events, but I expect good work, not a shoddy one.

Seriously... i really wanted to be in front of him... shouting as loud as i can... that HEY! Andrew and Thinesh did not even fucking help on the hanging and stuff ok?! It's me looking for volunteers trying to help... and what do you expect... they are volunteers... it's not their job yet they do it... with an expect of NOTHING to be re-paid... at least i'm proud of them even if you are not... that is because you are expecting too much of the commitee.... 6 of us... ALL BOYS (thanks for YOUR help on eliminating the girls) trying to help on hanging and stuff... we are being creative already... and hanging posters on staircase WORKS better than any others... we are the students we are the ones knowing where and what will catch our glimpse... WHAT SAY YOU?!
Sorry volunteers... this is not your fault at all.. because i know the volunteers asked me or shahril whether they can hang it there or not... as a matter of fact i instructed and told them where to hang and approved almost everything... to hell with the stupid USUAL ideas you have in your OLD brain...

Home-coming means i'm not gonna notice and take good care of myself... may be because i drank lil water... it makes me feel dizzy today... and a lil heaty... as if i'm gonna fall sick... i miss my gf so much and then i call her on the phone again... talked until PTPTN and the extra money in my bank for a car... i guess i'll buy one... sooner or later... but choice? MyVi or SAGA... i'm from a poor family...

Rubik's Cube - Review

Rubik's Cube 3x3 - An experience from myself....
I'll divide this into few parts...
My learning stage

My Learning Stage
I do not know since when... the trend of Rubik's cube solving is back...
Our class.. PT03... we have My. Yong Chin, my SiFu... start turning almost everyday...
I've got no intend to start learning actually.. i'm interested in one way but my laziness dominates my interest...
Till one day... i was frustrated trying to remember how to solve derivatives in class... then he sitting beside me... turning his normal rubik's... then i sighed that i will never excel in Mathematics...
"Learn this, and it will help on maths..."
My heart was moved... and this is how he triggered my interest to the max... trying my best to learn...
the same week... i started learning to solve the cube....
It took me exactly 2 days... to finish solving it...
First day... i learn to solve the first face myself... then learn to solve the first and second layer... which does not need formulas... only logical thinking... Sifu borrowed me his Original Rubik's and asked me to go back and practice... there's alot to remember for third layer...
We are learning the faster way to solve... but alot more to remember... not the one that needs less memory but longer to solve... those that we usually found on the net.. memorizing formulas like L, R, U, F and so on.. no i dont learn that... i learn to see colours... colours and patterns...
The second day.. i got to know that there is 14 ways to finish solving the third layer... 4 short-cuts and 10 must learns... i tried my best... and now.. i still havent finish with my shortcuts... left 2 more... but at least i can solve this 3x3 cube in my best record of 1 min 18 seconds..

The two different methods of solving the cube
As i mentioned above... i learn to see colours and patterns... learn to remember more steps but a faster way to solve it...
Only then i learn to know there's another solving method.. the really common one.. and many are under that method...
basically we have two sifu's in PT03... one is Jason... the other? also Jason but Jason Yong Chin( my sifu)

so the First Jason i mentioned(not my sifu) he's one to finish the cube with formulas we usually see...

Same turning method i met... is my housemate... Mr. David.. and i can say he's the best among those i mentioned... as in SPEED... He has a few cubes... but they are his sister's.. with gliterring stickers on it.. omg spoilt! -.-

i learned using sifu's cube and then started to buy a few because you need to learn you need to practice you need a cube... that's the basic...
i have so far.... 4 cubes to be exact...
One i bought at Alamanda... RM5.. believe me... do not buy these.... now it's at Wai Yuen's Place
Second, bought at Jusco Melacca... for RM8.90.. very dam nice to turn.. until it gets a lil too easy... White-based... currently at D-pin's place
Third, bought at pasar malam with tommy's help... nice to turn....black-based... RM8
Fourth, birthday present from sis... VERY nice to turn... black-based.. RM8

D-Pin.. too clever.. teach him a lil... he catches almost all the techniques... and within one day he finished learning to solve the cube... but alot more situations yet to learn...
Ah Kai. finished 2 layers...
So far so good.. im proud of my students and proud of myself solving the cube... and i do found out that my maths improved... at least i believe so...

Mid-Term Break

Mid-term break...
after all the business...
all the feeling that i'm about to give up on studies because of the jobs to be done...
finally some break.. sit back and rela- not again... i have physics to study... the Tuesday just after the break is the test!

So, how does home-coming after three weeks feel?
NORMAL...
except that it was my birthday the first Saturday... so a new Rubik's from my sister... and that's all... home-coming is just gonna be boring actually...

I missed alot about things that can be done in Ixora...
missed the time i spend with my girl-friend...
miss my computer... because the computer i have in my hometown just SUX...
NO MSN... XP SP1... the only good is streamyx.. but NEVER STABLE line.. sigh...
well at least a lil home-cooked food is cool...
Mid-term break has been so boring...
my family has the usual cold behaviour....
father had his leg wrapped as a cure for his ankle....
mum start asking me to do house works...
god... give me a break!

at least there is one thing i'm happy with...

I still remember watching her drama with sis... and father and mum joined after that... no doubt... she's too cute inside the drama that kept my sister praising non-stop... hey.. i'm proud of that ok.. =x

now there's problem with my SP1... i cant use firefox 3 and also chrome... so i have to use firefox 2... and i found out... my blog sidebar is OUT OF MARGIN... how is that possible... took me ten minutes... and i see the problem within the sidebar html... it's margin was left-ed 530px.. how come i see no problem using firefox 3 and IE and chroms back when i was in ixora... i have no idea.. but at least now i can view it properly on firefox 2 and it does not affect IE and chrome and firefox 3 viewing.. (at least i think so based on IE)

i still cant find the feeling to start my studies... besides blogging, facebook-ing and friendster-ing... i dont feel like doing anything else at all... may be turning few times of rubik is the exception that's all...
